Originally we had planned to use the cradle my dad made for my brother and I when we were babies.  I was worried they might not have time to fix it up before the baby suddenly arrives, so I decided to purchase a bassinet.  We bought this on sale at Zellers for 49$ originally 99$.  I don’t LOVE it, but I don’t dislike it either.

PROS: 

• Rocks, vibrates, plays music
• Has wheels
• Very Light
• Top can be taken off and carried as moses basket
• Pretty
• Quite easy to assemble

CONS:

• The color seems a little off in some places (I noticed the same with the display one)
• The wheels pop in and out easily, but not sure if they lock in place
• Doesn’t rock automatically

If you can get it on sale I would say go for it, BUT I wouldn’t pay 99$ for it. You can buy cheaper ones for pretty much the same quality.
